The United States Supreme Court recently issued a decision regarding the Double Jeopardy Clause of the United States Constitution.  In Bravo-Fernandez v. United States, the Court held that the defendant could be retried on bribery charges notwithstanding that the jury had acquitted the defendant of conspiracy to commit bribery and traveling for the purpose of committing bribery, but had convicted the defendant of bribery itself.  The Court held that the Double Jeopardy Clause did not prohibit retrial of the defendant, despite the acquittal on two bribery charges.  A link to the decision can be found here.
